I do not know about croc monitors specifically other than they are considered one of the most dangerous monitors and have the largest teeth of any living lizard. They can easily lacerate your digits and can get 6+ feet. They are also considered arboreal so a cage that is 5'W x 10L x 8'T would be a good start but they may out grow it.
