Yeah, most top out at about 7-8 feet. They get pretty stocky, but nothing compared to like a red tail or such. I have a 5 Ft male and he doesn't seem to grow any more.
You should read up on them and save up... You wouldn't be disapointed if you invested in one. They're amazing!
My female literally comes out everytime I'm moving around in the reptile room. She just wonders around her cage flicking her tongue. Its amazing how much character they have.
