I laughed non-stop for about 10 minutes. My mom said I should've been crying. Actually I was! It really made my day. The poor rat was probably wondering what all the excitement was.
Another funny thing:
The cage in the pet store had a note saying "not for food". Apparently the ladies there had fallen in love with this one and her babies, and wanted to get her a good home. I got a stern warning not to feed her to a snake, and to bring her back if I ever part with her. She's really sweet, and will always be a pet, along with the other female I got 2 days ago. More pics coming later. My new mission is to get a pic of mom holding one of them
