Okay...I know there are several threads floating around right now about the
AP cages. After talking, comparing prices, emailing the owners and such, I think I've made up my mind to go with
AP. They have had great customer service with me, and I look forward to doing further business with them.
Anyway...My question. I now have two Colombian Red Tail boa's. I plan on also getting a pair of Argentines. I'm limited on space, so I need to try to get one size enclosures so that I can stack them safely. After measuring I can get roughly 4 enclosures stacked from floor to ceiling, which will minimize space for me.
What size would everyone recommend for me? I had been looking at the T10 model. Would this be long enough/high enough?
And...if I get these cages, how soon would I be able to put my new Boa's in? Right now all my babies are in 10 gallon tanks, which is perfect for them, but I know from having a Colombian before that they grow pretty quickly. My other female out grew her tank within 6 months...I don't want to have to keep buying a bunch of make-do tanks that they're going to grow out of...Right now I have 11 ten gallon tanks that every snake is going to out grow.
Also, I know a few of you have Carpet Pythons, would the T10 work for them as well, or do I need something with more height? Right now I have the little ones in ten gallons and the yearling's in Exo-terra tanks.
Any kind of help I would really appreciate. I just see myself getting head deep in ten gallons and I know that eventually, even though I can use them again later, I'm going to have a LOT of tanks that are just in the way...
Thanks in advance!!
