I wasn't gonna say anything, since I didn't have anything nice to say. But...you really shouldn't be purchasing/acquiring animals when you are not sure about their needs. You get a new 'pet' every couple weeks, disposing of the critters that no longer fit in. How long will you have this one? Do you still have the BD's or did you trade them for this lil guy?
This monitor will get about 4 feet long and will need a very large enclosure as an adult. It will need to be both arboreal and aquatic. For now, the young monitor will be fine in a large aquarium, but it will soon require larger accommodations.
Where did you get the idea to feed boiled chicken? These monitors will eat mostly insects, but a varied diet it important. Read a couple of caresheets, in order to get a better idea of their diet. Go to
Google and type in "mangrove monitor". That is your best bet at this point, but in the future, you should seriously consider researching the needs of a pet,
before you acquire it. my 2¢.
