ok hes in a cage thats 3 feet long, 2 feet tall and about a 1 and a half wide, im put that walnut mulch, or that barky stuff in there. im then take a small tree and put it in the left corner. there will be about 4-6 inches of substright, so he can bury. in th other corner, im put a huge bowl of water. that will take up half the cage. this guy loves the water he hates 2 come out of it. so ya im put a rock in there 2 with some drift wood so he can climb and bask. i have a 75 watt with a uvb light. now this is a small cage till i can finish building his cage. whats gonna suck is im be moving to Washington in a few months so im have 2 sneak him up there with me.
also hes extremly fast and likes 2 run when held, i get a grip on him and he mellows but as soon as a loosen BAM! he runs, will holding him alot make him kinda mellow out, or will that only happen when he matures? also idk if its a male or not but is Incu a good name?
i read a guide to feed them (babys) feeder fish, meal worms, crickets, ground turkey, and pinkies. is it good 2 just feed him like 1 of everything a weak so he has a varity? also, i know monitors grow fast, and i know mongroves have knifes for teeth, but how fast does he grow? im ready for him 2 get upto 5feet maybe 6. and i know there tail is long and stuff. uhm thats it im reading alot. and he seems happy. healthy to. the vet said hes fine good monitor, he was surprised how he wasent nippy or anything, dosent even try 2 bite. uh thats it ill try 2 take some pics soon.
