Are hamsters good food? I figure a rodents a rodent. I can't get my ball python to eat rats but he sure likes hamster. The one he had today I thought might be a little large he had some trouble getting started on it and pulled off the head a couple times but then he got it in the right position and managed it. It seemed awfully big but wasn't bigger around than he is. I imagine he will be hiding out digesting for a couple days. I hope your emerald does well it is a good sign if he is eating and acting alert. Such beauties they are!
