Well its a releif that you were kidding! I know what you mean about crabby people.

They have their moments lol

My aunt Lilly who passed away recently was the most bitter woman I've ever known. Don't know if anyone has ever seen the "Maxine" cards, but not only was she just like Maxine in character, but she looked like her too! We loved her though
One thing I've learned about crabby old people, is that if you can make then laugh, they're really cool from there on out. Its almost like they share a part of themselves with you that they don't show to just anyone. Kinda makes you feel special.
I used to work in a beauty supply house, and we had a salon in the back of the store with 2 beauticians. All of their clients were easily 60 and up in age, and I loved hanging out back there. They always had great stories to tell. I always found it fascinating how they could describle 50-60 years ago like it was yesterday; and so vividly! You could almost see it just by listening to them. And they loved to tell their stories too, to anyone who would listen. It was a win win deal
So, sorry if I was a little touchy on that post, but I am sure you understand why now lol.
