Elizabeth Update
Elizabeth finally got an appointment with the oncology surgeon at Duke yesterday. There is one tumor, about the size of a golf ball, that is starting to wrap around her bronchial tube, and they want to remove it ASAP. Soooooo, she goes in for surgery on her right lung on Monday, at 2:15pm.
They will remove the other right-lung tumors at the same time. Depending on how extensive the surgery is, she could have surgery on the left lung in as little as 3 weeks! It should not be as intense as the right lung surgery.
Her health, otherwise, has been amazing! Her hair has started to grow back, and she has gained a few pounds, and is generally feeling good most of the time.
