I was cutting down some trees today and found a huge water spider. I thought it was a big toad when I saw it out of the corner of my eye. I immediately thought of Louise, snickered and went back to chainsawing down the menacing dead red oak that was threatening my front porch. I caught an adult eastern milksnake today too. And had 6 deer walk past my front porch this evening. Pretty good day for enjoying wildlife today...spiders and all.
