Thanks, again, guys.
It's been an emotional day. Elizabeth started talking about death, and how she was afraid she would suddenly quit breathing. I completely lost it. I've been a wreck since then.
They're still having problems getting her pain meds right. She's having a LOT of pain & pressure in the space where her lung used to be, and you can hear the air bubbling around in there. Gives me the heebie-jeebies.
She DID have a special visit from the therapy dog, Gus. He definately helped her calm down. She's not asleep right now, but she is a LOT calmer.
