I just can't seem to get into scorps...or spiders...or millipedes. I'll handle a 10' burm without a second thought but show me an 8" spider or scorpion and I turn into a little girl. :(

Nice set up Jason! How do you take that one out to clean the cage though? lol Is he poisonous ? What do they eat? You should post some feeding pics...yeah that would be cool!

Thanks , yes its venomous, all scorps have venom. This species venom is weak and pretty much harmless to people, like a bee sting unless you have a bad reaction to the venom. This species along with most other bigger species of scorps uses its venom for defense, they use there powerful pincers to crush the prey, if they get something to big to crush, they may sting it. You can handle this species,I have but dont generally because it stresses them. The easiest way to remove them from the cage for cleaning etc.. would be to gently coax it into a plastic container. I feed all my scorps crickets. I hope I answered everything

Sweet. Probably a creature that I will never get into either but those are some nice pics.
