Nice, congrats! I don't have the stones to jump into tarantulas. I prefer big, dangerous snakes lol.
.
Congrats again, that's awesome.

Actually that is not really true, very few Ts are over $100, most are cheaper. Also a bite from a king baboon or any T for that matter is not going to leave you sick for the rest of your life lol.. My question about the price is because if he did pay $249.99 for just that T, he got ripped big time.. King baboons are pretty pricey for Ts but not that much. Usaully can get them for under $100..

well they are pretty high priced here at pruess, but i would any amount when getting an animal from pruess, they are one of the highest quality pet stores anywhere. they take very good care of all their animals, and have people of specialitys for all the different animals they have. for me price isnt an issue when i know im getting quality.

There are plently of great online dealers that are better then any pet store. With inverts quality is not really as big an issue as with herps.. Most are WC anyway. I know pet stores are generally a rip off but dang thats more then twice the amount they should be.. If the person is happy with it, thats all that matters..

well there are some and i mean some good online dealers and there are some and i mean some great pet stores. preuss happens to be one, the owner personally keeps his own animals there along with onstaff vets. its a very top quality store, and if it came to online or preuss i would by from pruess 100%.

well reptileman27 i know what king baboons are worth, i dont need anyone pointing out that i overpaid. I bought the spider from some dear friends of mine who are having troubles keeping their reptile shop from closing down, they are the nicest people you could meet, and i am doing everything i can to support them, i prefer not to go to big business reptile stores because they are very impersonal. and this pet shop takes EXTRAORDINARY care of their animals. so money isnt an issue here, i am very happy with this tarantula and happy to be supporting the family owned.
and to be real honest, its just paper anyways
