i have never seen bearded dragons for sale anywhere...btu i assumed 30 bucks had to be a good deal..heck...the uth cost nearly that much  |

At my reptile guys shop he has a bunch of baby beardies and they are so dang adorable!! I wish I could have one too!! Maybe I will get a pic of them for ya while your waiting for yours...lol!

hehe...well normaly i would be more hasty to pick the animal up...but at 3 weeks old i figured heck...waitin a week wont kill me...i need time to make sure th ecage is set up properly and whatnot...its a youngster i wanna make sure its completely comfortable when it gets into its new apartment...make that penthouse...  |

Yes proper time to setup is the way to go! No real hurry anyhow right? Nothing worse then bringin a newbie home and not having all ya need for them!! :( I love watching them eat too!! Fun stuff!!

Aww congratulations! I got my beardie at a reptile show for 30 bucks because he had a nipped tail and nobody wanted him. I thought he was soo adorable and I always wanted to "adopt" an amputated beardie (call me weird or something) so I gladly bought him! He was 4 months old at the time (almost exactly a year ago, I got him for my birthday) and man they grow fast. He's still fairly comfortable in his 20 gal but true to tradition he'll be getting and upgrade here in a week =)

Congrats on your new addition!! I had a beardie and she was a great little girl until she started laying eggs. Then she got very defensive, and stayed that way. So I found a male for her and the owner of the male bought her from me to breed to theirs....which is good, because the only other place around here that has them is Petco, so this way people have another option.
Good luck with your new little guy/gal! And post pics soon!
