WOOHOO gettin me a beardie! :)
im stoked!! i got in touch with a local breeder through a local forum and he has a bunch of hatchlings he is trying to get to good homes...said he would sell me one for 30 bucks!! i couldnt pass it up...i have been keepin my eye out for a good deal and it seams i have found one (30 bucks is a good deal isnt it?) hehehe anyways...im gettin supplies for the lil guys tank today and prolly gonna pick it up next wed.....he said they are only 3 weeks old at the moment so it will be a lil guy...but i cant wait!!

i will post pics the day i get him...i gotta post pics of my new snake cage when its fully decorated too...im gonna be using my 20gal to house the dragon and i just got a much larger cage for my boa....
check out the new cage though...im stoked...i got it with the screen lid for 99 bucks...it also came with aquarium lids (2) with halogens built into them but id rather use a screen lid so i can secure it with clips  i believe its 55gal...not positive on the size..its BIG though

nice, Beardies are cool, if your thinking of Lights, I recommend a powersun, great UV, and heat in one pack, all you would need aside of that is a UTH for night time |

i got the uth already...but i was gonna wait to talk to the guy i buyin it from before i bought all the foliage and whatnot.. he already told me not to use sand because regardless of what people think it can still cause blockage...im meetin him on tuesday...so he is gonna gimme a sheet with everything i need to buy and what i "should" pay for it...the guy has been breeding them for a while so im pfairly confident in his judgement
also i kinda assumed 30 bucks was a good deal...what do people normaly pay for a beardie??? any ideas? |

i cant wait to take em its gonna be a lil guy too he will only be 4 - 5 weeks old when i get him/her...its gonna be a cute lil guy...AND my snake wont feel left out...he scored a MUCH bigger pad outta the deal...so he wont hate his new neighbor |

Congrats! They are the cutest lil things when they are babies!! Jus love those lil guys!! Cant wait to see him! Name yet or any ideas? Nice cage too btw! Your snake is gonna love you!! I was so excited to get mine a 55 gal too so I feel your joy with the cage excitment!! lol!

im gonna be naming it Bart its german for beard...and who doesnt like the simpsons?!?! i thought it would be perfect... i will not klnow at the age if its a male or female though..so if its a female i will have to rethink the name  |
