He is looking a little dark in these pix. Do these guys go thru color phases the way alot of snakes (and other lizzards) do?

I have heard they can,not that dramatically though.I think what your seeing is the fact that i just dripped water on him to give him a drink.They Won't drink from a bowl from what i have read so dripping water works to help keep them hydrated.they lick it off their lips.

He looks like he may be trying to shed.
Our dragons change color depending on their mood. If they are happy/content, then they are lighter. If they are upset, breeding, or challeging, they darken up.
And yes, they WILL drink from a water bowl... but you will spend a lot of your time changing it, because they like to poop in it, too.

I'm glad to hear they will drink from a bowl,i had read several times that the Won't.I hope he poops in it,cleaning is easy that way!
