FOUND HER!
Biaja, my Nicaraguan BCI escapist flew the coop about three months ago. Just up and dissapeared. for over a month I tore apart my whole house looking for her, but never found her.
After a month and a half, I gave up because she'd either die and I'd find her by the smell, or she'd come out on her own.
Then today, almost 3 months later, I walk into my bedroom to find all my baby snake tubs knocked off the shelf and onto the floor, and little peices of snakeskin stuck all over the corners of things. I followed the shed skin trail and found the little bugger hiding under my favorite leather jacket.
HA HA!
She soaked for an hour and a half before I returned her to a heavily weighted, locked cage. ahhhhhhhhh

RE: FOUND HER!
And, I'm heading up to the store right now to get her a couple mice to eat. She must be starved. :(

RE: FOUND HER!
Nice recovery! How does she look?
A friend of mine had his female BCI escape for 6 months. When he found her she had grown over a foot. lol

RE: FOUND HER!
She's grown about an inch, from my measurement. She looks terrible, honestly. She's covered in stuck shed, very cold, her eyes are kind of sunken... She'd gone on a multiple-month feeding strike before I got her. She didn't eat for a month when I first got her, then finally she ate. She ate, shed, and pooped, and the same day dissapeared on this three month escapade.
When I found her, she took a THIRTY MINUTE long drink while I soaked her for an hour and a half to deal with the immediate problem of all the stuck shed.

RE: FOUND HER!
I know how much of a relief that is. I lost a bp once for about three months. I found her by reaching into the back of my closet for something and recieving a nice bite on the knuckle...lol...I considered it a "hello kiss". Lets hope your baby gets back on track quickly as far as feeds and getting her weight back. Congrats on the find

RE: FOUND HER!
And all thanks to her leaving me a nice trail of skin to her hideout! lol
She's doing ok. She just got back up to temperature, and I put a PK mouse in there for her to find as soon as she's ready for it.
