Cuzco and Yzma (DUW)
We picked our new Peruvians up on Saturday, but I was sick all weekend, so I didn't get a chance to take any pics. :glare:
Anyway, I attempted to take a few today but didn't really get anything good. I don't want to stress them out too much. They're not what I would consider "handleable", unfortunately, but not so bad that I'm without hope. Either way, it adds to their charms. Besides, all I really want them to do is be healthy, look pretty, and maybe consider giving me babies someday. :laugh:
SO all I got were a few sad cage pics, they'll have to do for now.
Cuzco is about 2000 grams. I only got one good pic of him. He's CRAZY olive colored, with a lovely deep tail and a few awesome aberrant side-stripes:
Yzma is somewhere between 5 and 6 feet or so and 10 pounds. Her head is HUUUUGE. She's got this blaze of orange around her head-stripe, totally unreal! (Excuse the bad cropping jobs, I was trying to cut out the ugly flash-reflection in the plexiglass)
Her lovely chin:
