Boa Room Construction Plans!
I finally got my hands on the building plans so I figured I'd show them off.
The main building is going to be 104' x 45'. It's being put up on a property my family owns, which is only about 6 miles from my house. What good timing for me.. and I owe a big thanks to my dear old grandfather for allowing me to add a room and keep some boas there. We were originally going to construct the boa room inside of the main building, but we did some figuring and realized that it would take up too much needed space. So it will be built on the outside and attatched to the South (front) wall of the main building. Thankfully this didn't cost me much more than the original design, and I think it'll look very nice.
The boa room itself will be 24' x 24'. It will have finished walls and a finished ceiling, heating and air conditioning, lots and lots of electrical outlets (I've met with one of the best electricians in IL, and safety is our number one priority!), a back-up generator, good lighting, a security alarm, freezer, sink, and eventually some sort of flooring on top of the concrete (haven't decided on that yet). Here are the plans :
The basics. I circled and underlined the boa room in red:

Everything is pretty much set to go. We just have to approve of the design. I'm very excited and I can't wait until it's finished. We had to push the construction date to mid February, but it should be completed sometime in early March. I'll be posting pics of the construction once it begins.

Awesome plans, looks like you'll have an awesome setup! I would be sad, though, living 6 miles away from my babies :(

Thanks! I work on that property every day.. I'm there in the morning for a couple hours and again at night. So I won't have to miss them at all.

Not to mention, my sneaky suspicion is that Trendy has bigger plans than most of us as far as a future in boas.
Looks like you will be rivaling Jeff Ronne very soon. Great floor plan

How many snakes are in your collection now. I would gamble that you have the numbers of some of the smaller "professionals" just counting the ones I have seen you post up recently. Putting you in a position of going that direction if you pair them up, even if that wasn't your intentions.
