Normally, the Iquitos gives me trouble because of her attitude but stays put when taking photos. Today she wasn't sassy at all but wouldn't sit still which is rare for her. The Pucallpa, who has been nothing but a gem since I have had him, for the first time today threw me some 'tude. but he sat still...which isn't like him.

Today was the closest I got to becoming a part of the bleeders club. When I reached in the Pucallpa's cage, I went to take him out like I normally do and he swung around and "struck" at my forearm but stopped about a half inch from it. In that split second after it sunk in that "he just struck at me", he went right up on my arm. Perhaps I spooked him but I know he had acknowledged me before I even opened up his cage. I guess the lesson learned here is that even the "nice" ones can surprise you. I got lucky.

well when you have a burm basically swallow your hand in one bite, that is like vip bleeder lol, i think thier is still blood trails all over the carpet from that incident lol.
