very nice! how do you get them to hold still??? I hate taking pictures of snakes for that exact reason, theyre always all over the place!

Well it takes a lot of "poking" to get them into those nice positions. I tap their tail, gently tap their nose, move my hand away really fast and shoot! (A big reason why I went for a compact camera.. rather than a heavy and bulky SLR.) I usually have to repeat that for every shot. Sometimes I get lucky and they just hold still for me.. that's always nice.

and I thought geckos were hard! after enough poking, they think they are going to get eaten, so they hold VERY still for like a minute or two, giving me like tons of shots, then i have to turn them around and try again. haha
