Another He/She!
Well. I was drinking a few beers and playing with my snakes and I noticed that Kimchi (my keeper girl from the Pandora litter I got from Phong Ly) had exceptionally long spurs for a female. Looking at this I decided to once again "feel for bb's". I felt something but it wasn't very distinct. So, I went and got the trusty probe set and some sergilube. Low and behold "She" probed out to be a "He". I really gotta start probing on the way in!
.

.

.

.
Thanks for looking.

That is why I don't trust the "feel for BB's" method of sexing boas. Alot of people use it but I need to probe. That is what I get for not doing it sooner.

LoL.
Wish I knew if my Persephone was actually a female...
Still no visible spurs at 10 1/2 months, dunno.

Really? Wow. Based on looking at the photos his tail for the last several months, I could have sworn that one to be a female.
.
Just a classic example of probing being the only way to determine for sure.
.
If you have no use for another male Suriname, you know who to call.

I was actually considering that. But, it would probably be Lucky that I would sell as Kimchi is the only one from that line (Pandora litter) I have and Narcissus is my prized Tiny litter boy.

I am not nearly as sentimental as Rebecca is. He is back on track and as much as he is a cool boa, can't compete with Narcissus or Kimchi as far as being "eye candy". He does have great genetics for future projects though.....lol.....what if he is the only one of the three '07's that wants to breed in the future?
