'07 Guyana siblings
These two were having an average day today. 1.1 siblings from last year. The male has his head off to the left, females head is on the right.
I tried a variety of angles, zoom, and flash to try to capture as accurately as possible, their coloration.
Zoomed in, about 4' off the ground in the rack. No flash.
Zoomed out, about 4' off the ground in the rack. With flash.
Zoomed in, about 6" off the ground (so a different angle of natural sunlight through the window). No flash.
Some days, they lighten up and have a very light wash of pink and a light creamy white dorsal color. Other days they'll just BURN pink laterally and exhibit a olive-tan dorsal color. The male tends to be more pink, more often with a slightly darker dorsal color. The female tends to be lighter, but she can achieve more intense pink/red lateral color than the male when she's fired up!

The colors are really starting to explode on these babies.........in a few more years they should be glowing with color.
