Boy Meets Girl
25 minutes after introducing him to a big girl this evening. He's checking her out for sure, running his nose up and down her body, smelling every inch. Excellent. I hope he shows much further interest.

Just these two and the Miller male x 8' ladder tail BCC. As far as that pairing, I don't want to jinx anything at all.. so I've been rather quiet. But I will say things are looking very good, indeed. 
Mandea wants nothing to do with males this season. She musks them, hisses at them, gets stressed.. not cool. I've tried 4 seperate introduction attempts.. 2 different males.. she's just not having it. I'm going to stop trying for this season.. I don't want to stress her out.

I think it will be up to the female really. This male has been eating very little. Maybe once every 6 weeks since October, and I offer him a rat every 14 days. I moved his cage next to my other breeding pair the other day while switching some cages around. He left a sperm plug on his log this evening. I'm not dumb.. in with the female he goes.
