Well, after a few scares already, I have decided to take Adonis (the new male I got from John Brady) out of the cage with the big FLR female. He was trying to court her but somehow he always ended up on the BOTTOM and she, being as big and heavy as she is, could easily crush him. So, since Herc and Cali's breeding seems to have fizzled out over the past month or so (and she is in shed but I don't think it is POS), I moved Herc in with Ashley. He is 6 ft and about 7 or 8 lbs. He seems to be handling himself a bit better with that big girl. He may have even been copulating already this morning. His tail was wrapped up and in the air jerking and waving around. Of course this was behind the water bowl....grrrrr.....but it looks promising...

Well I am definately less nervous that he will get crushed....lol....Maybe Adonis would work well with Tiny. He could add some clean color to her babies

Copulation was verified and photographed once already. He has been on a schedule of one day on one day off as far as breeding her and is currently locked up now...What sucks is that she just took a really nasty liquidy-urate dump and he JUST started riding and tail wrapping. Looks like she will have to wait til he stops to get her cage scrubbed.

It was pitiful....lol....he would ride for a day or so and then the rest of the time she would be on top of him. He is around 4 lbs and very lean. She on the other hand ---- is NOT....lol....I have him in with Tiny and he seems to go once every two or three days. I hope that will be enough to get her to take. At least he won't get crushed by Tiny though....lol
