You dont have to think of it as a "business" to have a set of terms to protect yourself. I have read COUNTLESS BOI threads of people claiming DOA, and never providing pics, or trades gone wrong. Sadly the community is FULL of scammers out there. And any time you are dealing with an individual that isnt a friend/family/someone you know, you run the risk of having a deal go wrong because of "one of those people"

The only time you have to become legit, is if you start vending shows in states that require a business liscense or sellers permit. Ex: if you open a site that is just your name, then you dont ever have to file a DBA or anything like that.

There are pleanty of people out there who dont breed or sell anything that have sites, They just have pictures or care information, or any number of things. I dont want you to feel pressured or anything, it was just a suggestion. Its just if you are selling in the open market without terms, its like unprotected sex, eventually you will wind up with something bad

Stuff like this is inevitable regardless who you are. I've heard and been told of people unsatisfied with purchases from highly reputable breeders. It happens.

And so we changed our name! Hahah. Honestly part of me agreed with them, but I did think it was silly. It was nice to see so many people come to our rescue and say such nice things about us.

The only other post about us is some chick saying I suck when it comes to correspondence, but thats not news, hahah and is EXACTLY why I dont have contact info on my business cards

That is actually how I feel about my "real" profession. I always thought if people could just mail me skin, I tattoo it, then mail it back I would have the perfect job!
