odd question
i was asked by a friend if snakes can have babys from one litter with differnt fathers like cats can get pregnent by more than 1 cat can snakes do that 2? (no i'm not going to try it but it was an intresting question)

The answer is YES. A snake can actually retain sperm as well from one or more suiters to use when conditions become more "favorable" for gestation.
It is not uncommon for breeders to use more than one male with a female to get better "odds" of viable sperm. Usually the male they "want" to sire the litter and then a proven animal or second choice for sire to kind of ensure that the female has better odds of taking. In this case there can be separate sires for the same litter.
