I dont like the WII because its more of a kids system, I would rather shoot someone in the face then play tennis lol, just my opinion though.

Yeah I agree with Reptileman27, Until I find a game a savage as God of War on another system I have to stick with the ps3. I am all about stuff I can't do in real life (legally) I can play football, or tennis or even deer hunt if I choose to, I can not pull heads off of gorgons.

That leads to another beef I have with gamers. Who here plays video games of things they can do, Boxing, football, sports, beanbag toss, hunting etc...? My brother does this, I tell him if he would play foot ball outside he would lose weight and not need madden 07.

Well technically, you can get a gun and start wondering around the neighborhood and shoot people, you can jack cars and take them on a rampage, etc.... just because it is something you can duplicate in real life, it doesn't mean that you have the skill or ability or is feasible to do... are you going to go out and toss a football around with him? Is there somewhere around you where you can go boxing? How about hunting? you got open seasons where you are all the time? I agree with you that too much video game playing can cause problems and you should have physical activity as well (which is why I am fine until they make SnakeHerping Adventures '09), but that doesn't mean someone can't enjoy doing "real life" activities in video games too.

And by the way....I believe Madden '08 is the latest, so you got to go get that....they put them out a year ahead like cars now!

And just to repeat what I have already said....Halo 3....Xbox wins hands down, all you PSers, you need to get a grip on reality.

When I bought the xbox on Monday, I got Gears of War to hold me over till Halo came out...it is a cool game, unrealistic, but still cool! Haven't had much time to get back to either though...

Hartstock you must have missed my "legally" in the middle of my second sentence.

I bought a ps2 because I had a terrible shoulder injury and could no longer practice martial arts. Once I can start fighting again I am sure my game time is going to go way down. I played football with many of my brothers friends because he refuses to play, but in a video game where he can not get hurt or has to rely on his own physical ability, he plays all the time. As far as hunting season if you do bow and gun season you get an awful lot of hunting time. I do not hunt but I can not wait to fix up my compound bow and go to the archery range.

As far as the halo, it is just not a savage as the God of War games.
