Thats pretty messed up Tom!! I wonder why the cops weren't already there? Were any of your neighbors up when u left? Hopefully nobody was hurt and good thing you two are both ok!

I fail at life. Yes I do. Apparently in my semi awake state at 4am I saw the new dark green doors on those houses and it LOOKED like they were open...:( Sorry for the confusion. I feel like an *&$#!*&$#!*&$#! now.

The important thing is that you guys are okay. I don't know what I would have done in that situation, but I don't have a gun, so I'm pretty quick to dial 911 (if I can remember the number lol).

Well I am glad it was nothing major. We live with David's mom in an area that had no less then 12 shootings over the course of a weekend. Its pretty bad. We have 2 dogs, sweet, adorable mutts. but they go OFF barking like CRAZY if anyone walks in front of the house, let alone comes up the door, or down the side of the house. Our next door neighbors got broken into and robbed last month, and she works graveyard, and is home during the day, and FREQUENTLY I have been home when people are casing the neighborhood for empty homes. One time I had some guys come up to my door, not expecting anyone to answer when they knocked. Thinking fast they say "is carlos there?" like uh... who goes to someones house, and goes to the WRONG house? One of the reasons we stay here, is because if we leave, and take our dogs with us, she really has no protection/alarm system in place. We dont even have a doorbell haha, we just rely on the dogs to know when someone is there.

doors were far away, it was dark, and they were dark dark green....btw we don't use uranium.
