Rescue and a visit part 2
So sunday was a long and eventful day. After the rescue and a 3 hour drive, I drove 120 miles down the PA turnpike and quite a few more, to end up at Danktat's Tattoo shop!
This being my first tattoo, and hearing all the stories about how painful it was, you could say I was a bit nervous. One friend described it as feeling like the skin was melting off your body. After a bit of discussion on what I was looking for in my tattoo, I decided black and grey with the white highlights would be best for what I was looking for. So once i was decided it was off to the back for a bit of ink.
He sat me down and made the placement, I checked it out and then we got started. And DUN DUN DUN!!!!! It didnt hurt... More irritation then pain. So we joked about that and were talking about random things when in popped canadianbacon. We made out introductions and in about 45 minuets that tat was done. It hadnt felt like I had been there more that 15 minutes. AND I LOVE IT!!!!
So he offered to take me and my boyfriend (who I so rudely and forgot to introduce) up to see his suriname zoo. Which I was all about! I wanted to check out these gorgeous snakes he keeps posting in person... and gorgeous they were. His pictures don't do them justice. Every one look out for the "colorless" redtails babies. Cause they will be amazing! So we checked out some of the snakes (most were in shed) and snapped some pics and then had to head home.
After leaving my house at 9:15am, we didnt head out of the shop until 9 pm and didnt get home until 12 am. But it was totally worth it! It was great meeting people and it was deffinately a memorable day!
And what I know every one REALLY wants (screw the story)
the pictures....Sorry there arent too many, I ran out of memory...
My Bittersweet tattoo....
And a Beautiful Girl
