Forked tongue

Thanks all.

I realize it's not for everyone.. My son is still trying to figure out if he likes it or not

It's still quite sore.. I had a few bits and pieces of lunch meat earlier.. I had to push it pretty far down my throat (force feed).. that and I am having to drink my evening beer with a straw

Talking's not too bad.. although I imagine it will get worse tomorrow as it swells more...

I inatvertantly(sp) had a split tongue a few years ago. I had and still have my tounge pierced and was in a bad car wreck a few years ago and long story short my top teeth caught the bar and as my head went forward the bar went with it...split all the way down lol. its back in one piece now tho. I thouhg about leaving it but my supervisers and other military personal wernt as kooll with it as I was.

@Revj0e: Ouch. We had a local guy in the BME community years ago that was made to get his tongue split sewn back together.

Yea I met a guy that had it done before he joined up and I was staioned with him, which meant he had gone through basic, ait ( advanced individual training) and was actually on his second station and his tongue was just then becoming an issue and was made to sew it up.

I've always thought the split tounge thing was neat. Its going to be really cool when you learn to move both sides seperatly. Gotta post a pic of them crossing. Any way, very cool.
