Joey got a call today from one of our breeder friends, Simon, asking us if we're at all interested in Peruvian BCCs. Joey tells him that we just acquired a little female Iquitos in a trade, so although we had been planning on waiting a while before getting into them, it looked as though we were getting our feet wet sooner than we thought we would. Turns out he's downsizing his collection a bit and has an '03 pair of Peruvians produced by Jeff Ronne that he's looking to find another home for. Of course he HAD to think of us first. :glare:
And of COURSE BCCs are one thing that Joey has trouble putting his foot down on. :glare::glare:
*Sigh* We're going to go take a look at them tomorrow. They're supposedly "aggressive", but we'll just have to see about that.
And of course we're telling ourselves "OH if they're not absolutely perfect then we're not interested AT ALL!" and things of that nature, but we all know how great my willpower is when it comes to scaley little beauties.
We'll see how it goes. All of this snake stuff worked a lot better when Joey just said no to everything!
