Reptile insult

This story caught my eye.

"Aznar, a conservative and a close Bush ally who backed the U.S.-led war in Iraq, "is a fascist," Chavez said in a speech to leaders from Latin America, Spain and Portugal. "Fascists are not human. A snake is more human."

Actually...I agree.

Study the Reptile Brain vs the Human Brain. Fascists act much like Reptiles (snakes.) In Fact chavez was saying that Snakes have more compassion/human attributes than Fascists.

Simply stated, a fascist government always has one class of citizens that is considered superior (good) to another (bad) based upon race, creed or origin. It is possible to be both a republic and a fascist state. The preferred class lives in a republic while the oppressed class lives in a fascist state"

This is the EXACT reason I always advocate seperate enclosures for each reptile. Reptiles may 'co-exist' but there is always a hierarchy where the member(s) at the top will enjoy the fruits, while the member(s) at the bottom of the hierarchy will not be allowed the same satisfaction as the elite.

Yes this is natural...for Reptiles. Their brain is NOT the same as ours. Our brain stem is their entire brain. The noodle part of our brain is all human and that is where our human qualties of love and compassion come from.

Chavez equates reptiles to fascists because of the similarities that exist.

Chavez is not insulting snakes, but rather taking away the humanism of the fascists (if there is any). Simply put snakes ARE NOT human and therefore it is not an insult to say they are not. To say that fascists are not human is the insult, correct or not.

Considering the fact that the Juan Carlos is deeply allied with the Bush's and the war on terror, it is no surprise that he told Chavez to shut up. Juan Carlos wasnt standing up for snakes. He was standing up for Fascism. :(

The point is, he was trying to insult someone by saying they were less human than a snake. Why bring snakes into it? Because they're almost universally detested. That's what disturbs me.

And in doing so, he inadvertently insulted snakes by comparing them to humans.

True Star. If you think of all the bad aspects of humanity (war, jealousy, pride, etc, etc...) reptiles have none of them. All they do is eat, breed and defend themselves. I wish mankind could be a little more like them.
