ATTN: Everyone
I was away from my computer for a few hours and sadly missed a phenomenal thread. Stargazer's innocent and humorous thread on her Boa watching TV was viciously hijacked and derailed by a particularly nasty troll. I sadly came in after it was all over...:( I must say, with whatever credibility I have, that she and all the other true members that posted in that thread conducted themselves in an exemplary manner, the restraint exercised by them should be emulated by all of us (most particularly me). I just thought everyone should see and know about it. Johnny/mods I'm sorry if this thread in itself is out of line but I felt that everyone needed to know what happened. No I was not a part of it but I was especially affected by the way it was handled, that being one of my weaknesses (as some of you well know).

Thanks X-Factor. And just an FYI - I used the word "trick" as a synonym for "troll", not as a reference to prostitution. (because trolls come on a forum and try to trick people into a negative verbal reaction.)

Thanks, Tom. I thought Johnny nailed it in his final post, and I only wish we could have all thanked the post. I consider trolls like telemarketers. They are very annoying, but sometimes you can have fun with them. That particular troll was very amusing because she seemed to have an extraordinary knowledge of hooking terminology! LOL
Disclaimer: I am not, nor have ever been a hooker. LOL

it annoyed me that someone came to a forum where everyone is civil to each other and the troll tried to pull all strings to try and make us act like people do on another site. it is like someone invaded home. i for one refused to let the troll make me act like a jerk, i think the trolls whole purpose was to get us all fighting and acting like butts. but the troll failed miserably!
