NOt really "hard" but they will tear up all of your stuff if you aren't paying attention...lol...why do you think the term "ferreting thru something" exists. When they are out of the cage they should be supervised and they are fine

Besides the snakes (see signature) I also have two female labs 1black and 1 white and a miniature dauchsand.
Oh and 2.2 rats and 10 one month old rats. These are all for feeders though so I wouldn't call them pets.

2 balls, 3 boas, a corn, a false water cobra, a bearded dragon, a cat, some fish, and a couple hundred superworms.
I want to get a dog, too, but they are such heartbreakers I dont know if I can handle growing attached to and then losing something so dear. I miss my old mutt, oliver. He was a jackrussel/chi, pretty darn cool dog if you ask me. He even caught burglars breaking into my car in the middle of the night! Maybe Ill get another one day... |

I know what you mean. It took my mom a year and a half to get a new dog after my girl died, and even now I'm not so sure about this new little one. I just miss my lab/shepherd mix too much to get attached to this one. Maybe some time soon I'll bond with her...but its just so scary to lose them.
