My God! Wisdom teeth? For real? Mine had to be cut out of the jaw too. They were removed before they popped out of the bone. If I could have them removed once a week for the rest of my life, I'd sign up in a heartbeat! I don't know what pain meds they hand out now but back when I got mine out, it was Tylox and don't let the name lull you into thinking it's wimpy It was quite hallucinogenic actually weeeeeee. Plus all the chicks thought I was cute with my chipmunk cheeks lol

My wisdom teeth did not want to come out so I told the nurse that I had to go to the bathroom and then ran out the door. They had to chase me down in the parking lot! “Come and get your gas baby!” True story, I had just had knee surgery and had woken up from that in excruciating pain. Found out I was allergic to latex, and had a large blisters on and around my knee, and was given Ibuprofen! Well it turns out that I am allergic to Ibuprofen as well! They had to keep me in the hospital over night (I have a phobia of hospitals), and then the nurse threatened me with a catheter because I had not gone pee! So I could not move my knee, but there I was sicker than a dog and still hurting because I could not keep any pain meds down after that. Well I was just starting to feel better and could hobble around without crutches and the stupid doctors are like “you have to get your wisdom teeth out now or it will be a much more invasive surgery.” I was so worried about the after effects of another medical procedure so I asked to go to the bathroom right before we started. I was very diabolical and had lied about taking my anxiety medication so I still had a “clear” head. And off I went…..hobbling along because I still could not bend my knee. My mother and the nurse had to chase me down and drag me back into the clinic. The anesthesiologist met us at the door with gas so that I would calm down, the next thing I remember is throwing up on the way home. They gave me pain meds but I was to afraid to take them so I just dealt with it. My cheeks were black and blue almost a week and it was during Christmas too!

I hate that I started building two enclosures, and set my budget for building materials, heat panels, thermo's, fixtures, lighting.....and forgot to think about the sliding glass doors.....which I found out are going to run me about $550 installed. :glare:
So now its going to be probably another month before the doors go in. After one month I'll either break down and pay the $550 :scared:, or I will have figured out a different and less expensive way to do it :confused1: lol. Still frustrating though lol.....I feel so dumb. How could I forget to calculate the costs of what actually keeps the snakes INSIDE the enclosure?! :cursing:
Blonde moment, I suppose...

Yep, total for both enclosures. 4 panels of glass, (~3.5'x2' ea) 24' of track, rollers, grips, side track, locks, and installation = $550

Wow. I spent like 50 bucks for 3 pieces on my 8 footer. Ouch. I'd be ticked too.
