set your alarm clock, so instead of making a noise, it fires paintballs at you. That might work

This is the 10th bloody time I've slept through my effing alarm clock and missed class... My parents say they can hear my alarm clock and they hear me turning it off. I CAN'T REMEMBER DOING THIS. I don't even remember the sound of my alarm clock going off. I CAN'T HEAR IT AND IT'S AS LOUD AS ALARM CLOCKS GET. It makes a VERY loud, very irritating beeping noise. My MOM can hear it and she sleeps in the furthest room with a closed door. I'm going to end up failing my bloody class since I miss so many days.

You hate the clock and your brain has devised a BLOCK where it is concerned so you never hear it.
Get a recording that is set to go off when you want it to, which is the sound of loud, horrible, blood-curdling screams, or pigs mating. That should do it. Good luck!!!

I agree. Paintballs (whiplashings are also possible) can be very effective!

I used to do the same thing. Except I'd build the dang alarm into my dream, and dream about NOT being able to shut the dang thing off!
Do you think you would hear your cell phone ringing? If so, set the alarm on it, and put it across the room, so you have to get up to turn it off. That's what my husband had to do.

I'd have to punch it every morning in sheer rage.

It may help me but I don't think my family and siblings would appreciate that.

Sometimes I dream that my alarm clock is just an unstoppable noise and it drives me insane. Most of the time though, I just can't hear it.
My cellphone is unfindable at the moment and I'm afraid I might catapult it from my bed when I'm sleeping. My internet also doesn't stay on if I leave it unattended for an hour or two. IT'S HOPELESS.
Maybe I need a new alarm clock with a new beeping sound. Something I'm not used to.
