Back in the hospital
Elizabeth had rotationplasty surgery a few days ago to remove the tumor and her knee. If anyone is interested in seeing a vidoe of what it looks like, or learning more about the procedure, check out this website: Rotationplasty
She is doing quite well, and should be able to go home in a few more days. The surgical site has to heal for 4-6 weeks, and then they will fit her for a prosthesis for her lower leg. She will resume chemo in a few weeks to try & shrink the tumors in her lungs.
