chance
i really didn't want to talk about it but people are already asking me for chance easter pictures. i am sad to say that there will probably be no more pictures of chance dressed up. i have only told hartsock so far but....chance is getting old. i am pretty sure she is totally blind now and she dont like to come out much anymore. if anyone is in the room she will strike out at them if they get near me and her. i can only get her out if i am alone with her ( someone is always near by though) i leave her cage door open so she can visit with me and then go back in when she is ready. she will spend 10 minutes at the most out with me and then she goes and lays on the hot side again.
chance is in retirement and if it is her last days or years she will spend them exactly how she wants.
i really dont have anything else to say about it cause it tares me apart to think or talk about it.
all of you have been her family and deserved to know.

Dress up is always cute, but making an old, previously abused snake comfortable is always better in my opinion. Even if all future Chance pictures are shots from outside the cage, I am just glad you were there to rescue Chance.
Do not be sad, you gave a snake a better life and made hundreds if not thousands of people fall in love with Chance.

Tom is right. Don't be sad. What you have given chance over the years goes way beyond anything worth measuring. Both of you have touched the lives of many members on the forums and in real life.

I am sure Chance will have a wonderful retirement with her momma! I personally just hope you two both enjoy all the time she has to give even if it means NO more pics. You two have touched alot of hearts! Thanks for sharing the hard news Louise. Please give Chance a big snake hug from me!
