This IS the exact person that becomes dangerous on meth. Imagine that personality with a since of indestructability, sleep deprived and suffering from paranoid hallucinations due to it.

I beat it because it was time. There is no other way. Knowing you "should" is never enough. There comes a point where you either will or you won't and no one can make that decision for you. Rehabs won't do it, family won't do it, prison won't do it. It must be a decision a person makes for themselves.

sounds like it's a tough thing to kick even with all the help there is out there. You are probably the only one that I have heard about as a success story. But like I said in my original post, I'm not too hip to it and don't know anyone that I am aware of anyway that has taken it...thank God I'm older and it wasn't an issue for us as teens. I mean each generation has it's DOC but this one seems pretty intense...harder then even crack or heroin to beat.
I fear sometimes for my daughters who are still kids 10 and under--what will be the "thing" when they hit the experimental age? One can only fear the possibilities.....

Here's a better drug which can become quite addicting.

meatballs giada Recipe Search Food Network

Since you were looking for Italian meatballs, take your pick.

Depends on where you live. I was in CA where meth was bigger than coke because there was plenty of desert to "cook" it up without the smell of ether and P2P giving you away to your neighbors. Not to mention the heavy population of biker gangs that did a large portion of the meth trade (also why it is considered more of a "white" drug than a "black" one). The name "crank" actually came from the smugglers hiding shipments in their motorcycles' crank cases. Also the fact that Adolph Hitler himself and many of his soldiers were under the grip of what was called "Vitamultin" which was a form of amphetamine.

When I moved to PA about 15 years ago, many people here (in my age group) had never even heard of meth. It hadn't made its way here with any regularity outside of a very small population. Now it seems that it has become a coast to coast issue.

Depending on the person using, thier drug of choice is always the hardest to kick.........FOR THEM. To be perfectly honest, CIGARETTES were my hardest to kick....lol

Agreed without prejudice.
Cigarettes for me was very hard when I quit but I never missed it after that first month...then about 2/3 months ago I started again....it's actually moronic when you think about it....
Now someone told me that meth anphetamine and crystal meth are two different drugs or two differnt catagories of the same drug?...which I was not aware of. Apparently CM is far more addicting....any truth to this Dank?

Meth is some nasty stuff.. Back in the day when it was made from P2P and not it was more addictive and less destructive to the body. Now that P2P is pretty much something that you cannot get ahold of it is made from rather suspect chemicals and additives that take a massive toll on the human body. Open leasions and sores, massive tooth decay and loss, and brain damage are common side effects now days. Plus the process they make the stuff by now days is really dangerous. Explosions are common not counting the by products are really bad for the enviroment.

Originally called the MidWest cocaine because the economy in the midwestern states didn't allow users to afford cocaine. So meth became really popular due to its ease of manufacture and cheap price. Plus it is what is deemed a "Tri pourpose drug" which means you can snort it, smoke it, or shoot it up much like cocaine.

Never my thing as it didn't really make a huge impact in the south untill the late 90's. Now it is everywhere.. In the south we had massive outlets for importation of cocaine so there was never a lack of that drug. And prices were lower than other places in the country because 75% of it came into a couple of ports in the south and was "cut" in various southern cities before being shipped up north or out west. Heck Miami was built with drug money for the love of god..

And that's about all I know about meth as it was never a drug of choice for me. Cocaine was.. But I also walked away from it cold turkey and never felt the "need" to have it anymore. Sure I miss it for certain social aspects every now and again, but I don't miss it for the effects it had.

For the most part it is like the defference between cacaine and crack. What used to be available in pill form for "dieting" etc. was L-methamphetaming. What "crystal meth" is actually a slightly different molecule whic is D-methamphetamine-hcl....In essence it is bonded to a saltlike crystal and the alpha group is eliminated. Makes it smokable. If the process is flawed it is more of a "shooter's dope" as the heat from your body is enough to melt it making it not as stable or convienient to smoke but the impurities give the shooter and extra "rush" (was never my thing). D-meth-hcl seems to be more powerful and more highly addictive. Different rush and high. L-meth is closer to pharmaseutical, medicinal use (though not many dr's will perscribe it any more).

I just got reminded how meth really is. I was talking to Illianna adn brought this subject up in our conversation. She reminded me I did snort meth once with her in a bathroom of a club due to her buying it thinking it was coke. Not what I would call a happy experience at all between my face feeling like it was on fire from the inside and the endless hours I could not sleep. Cocaine never burned like that (well except that 99% stuff we scored that one time) and I could always sleep on coke. I don't remember specifics of meth per se, but I do remember I did not like it mainly based upon the nostral feeling like it was going to melt. Illianna related it to old school MDMA that we use to get from Israel back in the day. The new MDMA is crap. Trash cut and made with god knows what. I'd love to see someone now days take one hit of the stuff we use to get back then. It would rock their world to no end..

And a side note. If someone has a personallity like Nicole detailed and is hooked or gotten on meth I would think it would be best to distance yourself from them as far as possible.

:glare:
yeah....well.....the thought of you in the same position doesn't bring up a visual of roses and rainbows on a spring day Foster

more like S & M and blood letting while listening to 9 inch nails ....or some of that demonic rap you seem to relish these days :scared:
