From my memory you can take a bus to Tennessee Valley Road and walk or ride a bike from there to Muir Beach. (But my memory is maybe a little lacking). What about China Beach? No driving required. Tracy was thinking bonfire on the beach. But wouldn't that be at night? Bonfire, BBQ, either way, sounds good. Tamara, how far away do you live from SF? I also will not have a car and will be staying around 24 Ave. near GG park.

What side of the park are you on? I live right before the Avenues on the Richmond side.

Does that mean you may be able to haul us around in your truck, or that you will be busy? Assuming my friend will put me up (still haven't heard from her) I will be in the sunset district side of the park. That's all I know. I will probably be walking distance from Ocean Beach, come to think of it! We could even check out the aquarium and walk through GG park.

I haven't been back to SF since I moved home to L.A. I used to live on 40th and Lincoln in Sunset. I'd like to go back for a visit.

Itinerary: I will be coming in on Thursday night, September 6th. Sounds like Saturday is beach/BBQ day. Does anyone want to do anything on Friday? Vivarium, zoo, Aquarium, etc.? Let me know. I will also have Sunday free for these things as well.
