Nope those Dragunov's are all different. One is in fact Romanian, one is Chinese, and one is original Russian. Now just pick which is which.

The Chinese one is the one with the slanted bore. The Romanian one is the one with the noodley loose barrel. The Russian is the one that could probably hit a German from Moscow :P

Those Dragunov's are one of my favorite weapons in Call of Duty 4.

Really? I like the M44 better. The 91/30 has a detachable bayonet...so you can leave it at home. The M44 bayonet is folding and more trouble than it's worth to take it off...but I like the shorter length better and Since the photo, I added a muzzle brake to the m44 to eat some recoil. It won't fit on the 91/30. Those metal butt plates are rough on the shoulder lol. I needed some relief from the kick. 7.62mm / bolt action...all that recoil goes straight freaking back. I haven't shot it yet with the muzzle brake but from what I've read, it takes off about 40%. If it takes away 10, I'll be happy. Honestly, I don't think either are very "pretty". Russia didn't make them to look at, they made them to win wars with and to last. They did pretty good on both accounts. Another factor was to make them simple and easy to mass produce to the point of absurdity. By being such a simple no nonsense design that didn't really change much (You can mix match most of the parts between most of the different models made over a span of what? 109 years? something like that) They made manufacturing them very efficient and training to use them probably took all of "Here's your rifle...go kill somebody"
It's a weird feeling for me to hold a weapon that's likely been used in at least one major war...maybe several and wonder how many lives it's taken. I wonder if some soldier snuggled up with it while sleeping in a cold muddy fox hole back when my dad was a kid...They have all sorts of little symbols knocked into them. Some in the stocks seem to be from soldiers. Anyway, there's a lot of old surplus guns from all parts of the world to be picked up pretty cheap. MOST of them, I wouldn't pull the trigger on for fear of it exploding. These old Mosins coming in, I've yet to see a bad bore or crown nor one that wasn't worthy other than I did see some photos of one online that was captured from a Viet Cong soldier during the Viet Nam war. It was pieced together and built on a Chinese stock. It was pretty rusty even back when they first captured it. It's not unusual for rust to occur in a dense tropical rain forest but...It looked pretty scary. It's such a simple rifle though...I bet a little swab up the barrel and a little lube in the bolt and it would probably still take a head off at 2-300 yards with no problem. That's what I like so much about them. Simple, accurate, reliable and indestructible...and just enough history and interesting variations to keep collecting and reading up on them worth while.

I don't know how either of them shoot, I just like the look of the longer Russian Rifles, bayonet or not. Of course, the bayonet helps.
