is their something wrong with believing in intelligent design. i personally don't think life just happened, and for those who believe in evolution its never been proven to this day. they can never find the missing species jump link, evolution is mostly claims and speculations, and most scientist who try to disprove God end becoming the strongest believers cause they cant disprove Him.

pythonguy...how is evolution so hard to believe...personally I find it hard to believe that a dude walked on water, died, came back 3 days later, and then turned himself into a wholesome home cooked meal. They are both very hard to believe, but they are probably never going to be proved

well thats why its called faith, but when some one can find the missing link form evolution ill believe it. im sure things adapt for their surroundings but as far as species hop thats bologna. i tell you what when i die i sure don't want to be wrong and doubt God, and go to #$!#$!#$!#$! for eternity why take the risk??

Man, I was hoping that Raze's intelligent design comment would just get skimmed over. I see no need to turn this into a theological debate. And I would suggest that one not be started on another thread. Politics and religion can cause friendships to splinter and get heated very quickly.

I think this discussion has crossed a line, here.

I've been on pins and needles, hoping that this thread didn't end up being a poor representation of RedtailConnect's purpose....

It's one thing to debate technical aspects and trainability issues, and quite another to assult someone's religion.

Alrighty, the direction of this thread has been reported. I will not elude to a specific response or comment as the entire thread seems to be moving in the direction of a downward spiral. Let's get it back on track. Diggs on religion have no place at RTC. If there is scientific proof of something then lets state it scientifically and back it up. If not let's state opinions as just that "opinions". Good debates are welcomed and even encouraged here to keep us all thinking and learning but slander can't be tolerated and it is moving in that direction.

Thanks

This isn't a swing at either camp...just a question to ponder. Why does it have to be either or? Perhaps God created evolution? Wouldn't it make since for the all mighty to work in a system for beings to improve as climates and other circumstances change over time? Adaptation is highly evident...The problem with understanding evolution is that humans keep trying to compare our ancestors with available species. "We evolved from apes" does not mean that our ancestors are the very apes living here today. Our ancestors may have been more ape like but they weren't chimps or orangutans....They were just us only bent over more and hairier and had more protruding brows and smaller brains. Apparently they still got laid or we wouldn't exist Evolution is still working today. 1000 years ago women didn't have huge plastic breasts.
