Question....

OKay, I don't know if I should post this in the Boa forum or not, I know a lot of you may not look in that section, and I need an opinion!

My little Tree Boa, that isn't bigger than a pencil left these in his/her tank today. I went to mist and found them in her coconut hide, she/he was wrapped around them....

They are the size of a tic tac.......
This snake has NEVER been with another snake in the last 9-10 months that we've had it.

Any ideas?

Are you sure it's a tree boa and not something else? Boas give live birth

They look like lizard eggs. Did you by chance feed this snake a lizard recently?

I was thinking that they reminded me of anole eggs.

Weird question, but would it be possible for a snake to eat a gravid lizard and then pass the eggs? I imagine the eggs would be digested as well, right?

The eggs would be digested. Did you feed it an anole? Perhaps the anole laid the eggs before it was eaten.

I agree they definitely look like eggs and viable ones. Either you have the wrong snake or something else laid eggs in there.

I agree with Dank. Incubate and hatch them, if for no other reason than to solve the mystery!

How cool is that?
