dang, I have a pic but it's in a box "somewhere". At least my prom was in the mid-90s, those prom pics from the 80's can be rather scary lookin, the hair anyways. |

What a Prom anyway? I mean I know it's a grad party but what is it short for? Promenade? Promise? Prom-Prom? Prominence? Promulgation? 
I think it is Promenade, which is what "ladies of taste and fortune" used to do in the old days of hoop skirts and wigs.
