I don't know about everyone else, but I'm pretty tired of the arguing, bickering, name-calling and childishness that's been invading our 'virtual community' these days.

Personally, I need to see the brighter side of life, or I will go insane.

It may be a discussion to you, but to me, it is just another in a growing list of abrasive threads that have been popping up. If it keeps going the way the others have, it will degenerate to name calling, argumentative garbage that will ultimately be closed by an administrator.

Dustin, we all have opinions. But this is not the venue to try and change the world. We're suppposed to be here to (hopefully) learn about reptiles, their care, their owners... to make friends, and support a hobby we all have a common interest in.

I think it's kind of funny...no one can come up with any real stink on Obama so they go after a preacher at a church he attends and pin everything bad about that guy on Obama. I don't go to church any more but when I did, I never agreed with everything the preacher said. I sure would hate to think that because I attended that particular church I was guilty by association for every shortcoming the preacher had. Black churches often preach about overcoming oppression. That's not new. He would be hard pressed to find a church run by people of color where it didn't come up now and then. It's not like it was a Black Panther meeting. I've never seen any evidence that "Kill Whitey" was the topic of any sermon...so what do the republicans want? Would they have preferred if he was a card toting KKK member denouncing half his racial heritage? It's OK to fly rebel flags no matter who they offend to honor one heritage but if a half black man running for president has at some point honored his African heritage...he's racist? Please. I don't think McCain has a shot unless the Bushes want him in so bad they set up another cheat in Florida....may happen though but like Bush both times, it won't be American voters that put him there.
