Man, when it rains, it friggin pours

About a week ago, My car would shake when the AC was turned on ... No big deal, I turned the AC off (saves gas anyways). Yesterday, I felt the cluch slipping alittle so this moring I took it to the mechanic.


Guess what? One of the cylinders in the engine isn't compressing. They said that it would cost around $1,500 - $2000 to fix ... SOOO, now I have to decide if I want to fix it or finance a new car. My car is a 94 honda civic that I spent $3000 on less than 3 months ago. I know that it's not alot of money but I don't make alot of money. It's an older car but my dad has a 93 accord that works fine, I just really don't have enough money to spend either way. I recently lent my sister $1000 b/c she was in a hard spot, and she's letting me use her car while she's in Texas. I have no Idea what to do.

I'm going to go sit in a corner and cry, then probably go apply for a 2nd job.

This stinks. (sorry I've been complaining so much)

go with the accord, i love them. if you feel your at the bottem look up cause thats the only place you can go, and remember at the end of the day when you think you have it rough there are always those in a worse situation and it will make you feel better.

Thanx y'all ... I'll probably end up financing a new car. Since I don't have enough credit, My dad said he'd take out a loan as long as I can make the payments (with my current job I won't be able 2, I'll have to get another job on top of school). *sigh*

the good thing about getting a new car is that it's covered, so if anything happens, I'll be ok.

I pretty sure that's what friends do...listen when someone needs to vent. Things will work out. Crappy stuff happens, but I've found that there is usually a reason why it does... we just have to be patient.

haha, no having a car won't suck ... probably the opposite. I have NO idea what I want though. Normally I'd go with a Honda but apparently the new hondas are having all sorts of problems.

I was thinking about a F150 so I can pull the horse trailer and decided that I can just use the F350 we have ... I want an economical car b/c I have to drive alot
