Good Grief!!!
Feel free to vent here.
:cursing: I am quite upset myself. I recently developed a minor injury in my knee. While still considered minor, it is more significant than I thought. I had 20cc of blood pulled out of my left knee 'sac' on monday. This was only after I had been alternating heat and ice on it for 2 weeks with little to no improvement. Doctor says he is glad it was blood, not puss, but to stay off my knees for a few weeks. No tears, no fractures, just a major bruise.
Well, for some that may be easy. I, however, train groundfighting 4 days a week...some days twice a day. I start getting anxious after 1-2 days off. A few weeks will drive me insane. This is not to mention the fact that I had a competition this weekend! I was mentally ready, physically ready for the submission grappling tournament this weekend...but that is no longer the case. :cursing: :cursing:
:crying: why oh why do I always injure myself right before a tournament? Last tournament I injured my shoulder a week before. This time its my knee. :cursing:
did I mention...:cursing:

That is always the case...sometimes we overtrain when we know we have to be at our best by a certain time. Last year I was supposed to cut up for the Philadelphia grand prix natural bodybuilding competion (novice class of course...lol). I severely pulled a trap about 8 weeks out (just long enough to blow my conditioning). Overtraining will do it every time .

Back and knees. You gotta let those two heal all the way. Get better!

Never understimate the healing powers of good deep tissue massage on the surrounding areas. This is a must for athletic people.

Sorry, I don't do "dang" massages. Only the regular kind. Dank, I will trade a massage for a tattoo. Will that work for you?
