SIZES
These perches are custom made to any size aquarium or cage. They can also be made for Rubbermade/Sterilite bins as well.

SHAPE
Since these are custom made, I can make them in the "tic-tac-toe" shape, as pictured, but they can also be made in an "X" Shape ("X" shape can only be made to a perfect fit with cages that have the same width and height). I personally find the "tic-tac-toe" shape to be a little more useable, because of all the available spots on the perch for the animal to hang.

TEXTURE
Texture is very important to Arboreal snakes, especially exclusively Arboreal animals such as Emerald Tree Boas, and Green Tree Pythons. The texture of a perch helps to prevent blisters, as well as giving the animal traction, making it more comfortable to use.

Buying the popular pet store "grapevine", and other wooden perches can be very expensive. These wooden perches can often harbour Mites, and other unwanted parasites. Wooden perches also get water logged and mouldy, and the deep cracks and grooves are perfect for growing bacteria. If you put a wooden pet store perch in water, it will often dye the water to an ugly brownish red color. ALL of these problems are eliminated with one of these perches.

Here are two pictures of one of mine in use.

As you can see, the perch uses as much of the cage as possible, without cluttering the cage floor. In fact, the only part of the perch that touches the floor are the bottom verticle tubes. These perches use NO mounting hardware, and are simply placed into the cage. The two levels on the perch allow the animal to choose where they want to bask, allowing them to thermoregulate more comfortably than most wooden perches which may only have one place to relax, and bask.

I can assure you mine are affordable, and a very good, and healthy choice for your animal. Caps on all the ends prevent smaller animals from crawling inside the perch.

thats cool to hear. They are a really fun species to keep. A bit more challenging, and not near as hands on but really fun. Is she considering an Emerald Tree Boa, or a Green Tree Python? Chomper is an emerald tree boa. Green Tree Pythons look almost identical, and are a bit more forgiving to care for, and are not always as bitey

lol, I just noticed. The spot that chomper is on the perch in the picture is honestly his favorite spot. Come to think of it, I dont think I have ever seen him anywhere else in the cage, except for when he hunts. And when he hunts, he is still there, just hanging down

Very nice Owen. I'm glad youre taking off. I've had a lil something somethin of my own now for about 2 years now.
