Thanks, again, guys.
It's been an emotional day. Elizabeth started talking about death, and how she was afraid she would suddenly quit breathing. I completely lost it. I've been a wreck since then.
They're still having problems getting her pain meds right. She's having a LOT of pain & pressure in the space where her lung used to be, and you can hear the air bubbling around in there. Gives me the heebie-jeebies.
She DID have a special visit from the therapy dog, Gus. He definately helped her calm down. She's not asleep right now, but she is a LOT calmer.

I can't imagine what that must be like as a parent. Went thru it with a grandfather but I am sure that was different. Tell her she has to get well soon because she has to pick from my next litter.

Yeah, my sister stays up here with us at night, but she works during the day.

Thanks to everybody!! Today has been eventful. They took her off of all the IV's, and the epidural. She gets tired very easily, but is making remarkable progress! She was able to walk around the entire unit! If she continues to improve this quickly, they may let us go home this weekend.
